Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed in a meeting on November 15 that Russia would never forget that the victory in the Great Patriotic War was achieved by all the people of the Soviet Union.

It also remains as historical fact that the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic sustained nearly 70 percent of the total loss in the Great Patriotic War, he said. “All of us will make historical factual data the asset of tens of millions of persons and try our best to act and formulate future policies on the basis of that.
