The 2022 sports contest of persons with disabilities and amateurs opened.
Divided into categories of disabled persons and amateurs, contestants will compete in such events as table tennis, tennis, shooting and archery.
An opening ceremony of the contest took place at the gymnasium of Kim Il Sung University on November 15.
It drew officials from the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, relevant officials and players.
Yun Chang Il, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, delivered an opening address, followed by other speakers.
After the ceremony was over, the table-tennis game was played according to categories.
