A joint meeting entitled “Glorious 75 years through which the lineage of Mangyongdae and Paektu has steadily been carried forward” to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School took place at the April 25 House of Culture in Pyongyang on October 14.
It was attended by teaching staff, students and graduates of the revolutionary schools.
Kim Song Bong, rector of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, and Pang Kum Byol, rector of Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, talked about their greatest honour and joy of getting the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s visit to their schools.
Han Won Nyon, Pak Yong Gwan and Pak Myong Son, graduates of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, noted that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il attended the first joint meeting held on the occasion of the 20th birthday of the school and made sure that graduates and students of the school made it a tradition to get together and hold a joint meeting on various occasions and that the great leaders showed deep trust in and paternal affection for children of revolutionary martyrs so that the latter could steadily carry forward the lineage of Mangyongdae and Paektu.
Graduates and students of the revolutionary schools mounted the stage to express their firm determination to steadily carry forward the bloodline of the revolution by preparing themselves as passionate revolutionaries and competent talents to lead revolutionary ranks at the forefront in powerfully advancing the cause of Korean-style socialism, inheriting the soul of the first-generation graduates of the school.
