A decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on conferring the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War Medal on war veterans and persons of wartime merit was issued.

The decree says that the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War Medal is conferred on 9 296 war veterans and persons of wartime merit, who performed immortal feats during the war and adorned the annals of the revolution with loyalty and patriotism, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of victory in the war.
