The Standing Committee of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly on December 6 issued an official notice on the convening of an SPA session.

The notice said that the Eighth Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly will be convened in Pyongyang on January 17 2023.

According to it, the session will discuss the work done by the Cabinet in 2022 and its tasks for 2023, the results of the implementation of the state budget for 2022 and the state budget for 2023, an issue related to the adoption of a law on the protection of Pyongyang dialect, the work done by the Central Public Prosecutors Office and an organizational matter.

It announced that the registration of deputies will be conducted on January 16 2023.
