The Israeli forces conducted a new military operation in the northern part of the West Bank on August 28 and 29.

Their ground force accompanied by assault helicopters and drones raided Jenin, Tul Karm and another city allegedly to remove the bases of the Palestinian resistance forces.

They attacked not only residential areas but refugee settlements to shoot at people and armoured vehicles ran about around a hospital for manslaughter. In the course of this, at least ten Palestinians were killed, scores of others wounded and houses and infrastructures severely destroyed.

The international community has strongly denounced Israel’s cruel assault and bloodbath as a serious act of exacerbating tension which may bring a calamity to the region.
