Russian presidential press secretary Dmitri Peskov decried the West’s moves to militarize Europe at a press conference on March 21.

The militarization of Europe is a very dangerous tendency, he said, adding that this will neither bring the return of detente or mutual trust nor contribute to the security of Europe itself. 

The Western politicians are excited with a desire to militarize Europe without fail and many European people are following suit though they are displeased with it, he said.
