New sectoral structures are being established for putting the chemical industry on a Juche basis.

While directing efforts to finishing the installation of a high-capacity paper-making machine as soon as possible, it promotes technical innovation to reduce production costs by realizing the domestic production of various kinds of auxiliary chemical materials.

The February 8 Vinalon Complex, Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, Ponghwa Chemical Factory and other units started the building of new chemical goods production bases and are now directing great efforts to completing them successfully.

The February 8 Vinalon Complex is accelerating a construction project for establishing a salt production line based on an industrial method.

The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex is concentrating on establishing a line to produce more efficient functional greenhouse vinyl sheet so as to hasten its trial operation. 

The construction of new chemical goods production bases is progressing apace in other units of the chemical industry.
