The Iraqi Ministry of Oil rejected the baseless accusation of US congressmen against the country on September 8.

The American congressmen recently found fault with Iraq, insisting that it is helping Iran avoid sanctions by smuggling oil with the country, and talked about any countermeasure. The Iraqi oil ministry branded their argument as an outright lie.

Iraq has been absolutely astonished at their claim and vehemently rejects it, the ministry stressed.
