Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian decried on September 18 the act of terrorism Israel committed in Lebanon.

Referring to the fact that thousands of pagers exploded at the same time in Lebanon on September 17, killing more than ten persons and injuring about 3 000 others, he condemned the moral baseness of Israel that used devices made for people’s convenience as a means of terrorism.

The misuse of science and technology as a means of assassination and destruction can be made only by brutal criminals devoid of humanity, he said, stressing that Western countries, especially the US, which are supporting Israel in its murders and other indiscriminate criminal acts, must feel shame over the recent terrorist act.

He called on all the Muslims to join efforts against the aggression and crimes of Israel.
