The workers' artistic information group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) and the mobile artistic motivation team of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill gave a joint performance "Glory to Our Motherly Party" on October 8 to mark the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Put on the stage of the performance which started with male quintet "Long Live the Workers' Party of Korea" were colourful numbers reflecting all the Korean workers' best wishes for the great Workers' Party of Korea which has always put them forward as creators of miracles and feats.

The performers sang in high praise of the undying feats of the peerlessly great men who developed the WPK into a genuine motherly party which takes care of the people's destiny in a responsible manner and a mass party enjoying absolute support and trust from the people.

Officials of the GFTUK Central Committee and trade union officials, workers and union members in Pyongyang enjoyed the performance.
