Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, sent a reply message to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, on March 12.

The message said:

Expressing thanks to you for your congratulations on my reelection as the general secretary of the WPK at the Ninth Congress of the WPK, I hope that the Cuban party, government and people will achieve successes in the struggle for overcoming the pressure of the hostile forces and defending the sovereignty and security of the country.
