By giving priority to supply of raw and other materials

The Songchon County Foodstuff Factory attaches importance to the supply of raw materials to ensure the normal production of processed chestnut products in all seasons. It built a large-capacity storage house on the basis of the correct calculation of the amount of raw materials needed for the annual production of processed chestnuts and their storage conditions to meet the demand of its residents for the goods. 

After providing a guarantee for producing plastic pipes of various sizes, the Unsan County Daily Necessities Factory is now concentrating efforts on the supply of raw materials and the Sukchon County Foodstuff Factory is boosting the production of liquor by using by-products of wheat flour production.

The daily necessities factories in Hamju and Onchon counties took the collection of idle materials and recycling as an important matter in the supply of raw and other materials and settled sci-tech problems arising in mixing raw materials and making moulds, thus raising the productivity and quality of various kinds of plastic products to a high level.

The fishery processing factory in Yomju County and foodstuff factories in Onchon, Hamju, Kumya and Jongphyong counties have secured enough raw materials for the production of various kinds of processed marine products in close cooperation with relevant units to increase the production of specialities.

Focusing on special products representing regions

The Kusong City Foodstuff Factory directs a great deal of energies to the development of new products to produce specialities favoured by the people, such as juices of Schizandra chinensis and Crataegus pinnatifida fruits, Actinidia arguta fruit jam and vinegared wild grape drink.

The Jangyon County Foodstuff Factory has taken technical measures for the beer brewing process to suit the regional feature that barley is grown in a large area and constantly improved its quality, while the Sepho County Foodstuff Factory pushes ahead with production after setting up a production process based on the abundant raw material resources in the region.

The Kangdong County Foodstuff Factory produces special products by using various kinds of functional vegetables from the Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm.

The Ryonggang and Puryong county daily necessities factories equipped themselves with modern stone processing processes. They are now producing various kinds of stonecrafts from quality granite in their regions.

The Tongsin and Sinyang county daily necessities factories produce wooden products of various kinds and particle boards in accordance with the characteristics of their counties. And the Rangnim County Daily Necessities Factory produces sawdust charcoal by an industrial method to help improve the living of the regional people.
