Modern villages have sprung up at the Hungsang Farm in Ragwon County and the Township Farm in Kumya County, South Hamgyong Province, presenting a new landscape of rural development in the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Attending the ceremonies for moving into new houses held on the spot were officials of the Party and power organs in the province and counties, builders and agricultural workers.

Addresses were delivered at the ceremonies and licences for the use of houses were handed over.

The farmers began moving into new houses, dancing to the tune of cheerful songs.

Listening to the impressions of the farmers who moved into new houses, officials encouraged them to make innovations in agricultural production for the benevolent Party and socialist system.
