Modern houses have been built at the Kayang Farm in Unnyul County of South Hwanghae Province and the Kyejong Farm in Kumchon County and the Township Farm in Thosan County of North Hwanghae Province.

The dwelling houses, which were designed to ensure the convenience of the residents while preserving the characteristics of the regions and modernity, have living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and stores. Trees of good species were planted around them.

Ceremonies of moving into new houses held on the spot were attended by officials of the Party and power organs in the provinces and regions, builders and agricultural workers who would move into the new houses.

Congratulatory addresses were made and licences for the use of houses were conveyed at the ceremonies to be followed by resolution-making speeches.

As farmers began moving into the new house amid cheerful dance parties, officials congratulated the working people upon moving into new houses and shared joy with them.
