Young people in Sunchon City of the DPRK volunteered to work at worksites of socialist construction.

Many of them volunteered to work at the city construction brigade with one mind to add lustre to the precious name of the patriotic youth in the worksites of creation and construction for putting the countryside on an urbanized, civilized and advanced basis.

Youth league members at the city’s public catering establishments put their names on the list of volunteers, hardening their will to fulfil the ideals and ambition of youth on the road for the prosperity of the country.

There is also a youth league member who volunteered to work at the raw materials base station with a resolve to devote sincere sweat and efforts in the vanguard of the struggle to implement the regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A meeting was held at the Sunchon City Hall of Culture on July 19 to congratulate the volunteers, with the attendance of officials concerned, youth league officials and youths.

Certificates of volunteering were awarded to the volunteers and a congratulatory address and speeches were made.

After a congratulatory performance, officials and young people encouraged the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them leaving for their new workplaces.
