Yun So Gwang, teacher of Kaesong Middle School No. 1 with a 20-odd-year teaching career, is held in respect by many students and their parents as a true educator and teacher.

Over the years, with clear conscience and high qualifications as educator, he looked after hard-pressed students with parental care, encouraging them to overcome difficulties together with him, and took responsible care of and taught a sick student, whose parents had given up hope of his recovery, to the last and thereby the latter could enter Pyongyang University of Architecture.     

The teacher has always treated and led students with sincerity and so far brought up all students in his charge as future pillars of the country.  

He created and introduced several excellent methods of teaching foreign languages with high educational qualifications to help students reach the top three several times in the national foreign language conversation contest of middle schools No.1.

Last year he was rated as the best at the national foreign language teaching experience-sharing meeting of the primary and secondary education sector and won first place at the school’s teaching contest assessment. 

He was awarded the title of meritorious person of socialist patriotism in March 2019.
