Russia censures West for war moves
November 5, 2026Russian Presidential Aide Nikolai Patrushev decried the West’s moves to ignite a war in an interview with the newspaper Rossiskaya Gazeta.
The NATO, the EU and the UK are endeavouring to spark a big war in Europe, he said, stressing that the threats from the seas, that is, the Baltic and Black seas, are increasing especially.
Disclosing that it has become a purposeful and conscious policy of European politicians to aggravate the situation in these waters and the adjacent areas, he said that today they have completely forgotten the interests of their citizens and constructive cooperation with Russia.
The Europeans are unaware that they have driven themselves into a tight corner through sanctions, geopolitical adventures and anti-Russian policies, he noted.
