Those who think first of the country’s affairs in hard times and voluntarily do good things and create miracles and innovations ushered in a great golden age of construction in which model edifices representing socialist cultural efflorescence endlessly rise up and a new era of new rural revolution and regional development in the past five years.

This year, too, the Korean people have kindled the fierce flame of increased production on the strength of patriotism and unity.

The workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex have miraculously increased production every month, and the coal miners of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine have set unprecedentedly new records.

Encouraged by the news of their innovations, all sectors of the national economy strive to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea by bringing about new innovations.

The slogan “Unite on the strength of patriotism!” has become an all-people slogan and all the people have made contributions to the prosperity of the country with one mind and will. This constitutes the mode of advance peculiar to the DPRK.
