National Garment and Footwear Exhibition-2026 closes
November 4, 2026The National Garment and Footwear Exhibition-2026 closed with due ceremony at the Three-Revolution Exhibition House in Pyongyang on November 2.
Highly appreciated there were products presented by various units, including the Unha Trading Group, the Pyongyang Municipal Garment Industry Management Bureau, the Ponghwa Trading Group, the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and Central, Pothonggang and Phyongchon district general tailor shops.
Various kinds of goods produced by the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, the Ryuwon Footwear Factory, the Wonsan Footwear Factory, the Pyongyang Bag Factory and the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory showed well the development of light industry making a leap forward day by day under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Also attracting the attention of visitors were garments manufactured by the Kosan, Kangdong, Jongphyong and Sinyang county and Kusong city garment factories.
Present at the closing ceremony were officials concerned and officials and working people of the exhibitor units.
Diplomas, certificates and prizes were awarded to the highly appreciated units and participants.
Ri Yong Gun, minister of Light Industry, made a closing address.
