Young men and women in Ryanggang Province have volunteered to work at major socialist construction theatres.

Those in Kim Hyong Gwon County, Kim Jong Suk County and Unhung County vowed to work at construction brigades and raw materials base stations, and those in Samsu County decided to become members of a workteam maintaining a mountain pass.

A youth league member in Paegam County asked his youth league organization to send him to a branch school in a remote village.

A meeting was held at the Ryanggang Provincial Hall of Culture on October 28 to congratulate those volunteers.

Present there were officials concerned, youth league officials and young men and women. The volunteers were awarded certificates of volunteering. A congratulatory address and speeches were made.

Officials and young people saw the volunteers off, putting garlands around their necks and presenting bouquets of flowers to them.
