Russian Security Council chief: Western politicians are obsessed with morbid fantasy
October 28, 2026Sergey Shoigu, secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, in a consultative meeting held on October 21, said that Western politicians are obsessed with morbid fantasy, describing Russia as the “aggressor”.
He denounced that the Western politicians are frightening their citizens by inventing a non-existent “threat from Russia” and making desperate attempts to fulfil their morbid fantasy by branding Russia as the aggressor and arch-enemy.
Saying that recently no high-ranking politician of the West has not clamoured about the “threat from Russia” at every opportunity available, he emphasized that Russia has often clarified its stand not to threaten anyone and still keeps maintaining the stand.
