The Mexican president censured the US for ill-treating the Mexican immigrants at a press conference on October 19.

A Mexican recently died at an immigrant detention camp in Texas, the US. In connection with this, she said that the Mexican government would file an indictment to the US. 

Saying that the recent victim is the 18th of the Mexicans who have died at the immigrant detention camp of the US since January 2025, she stressed that the government opposes and rejects the US’ racist acts against the Mexican immigrants.

She said that every possible effort would be made to protect the human rights of overseas Mexicans.

Meanwhile, the Mexican Foreign Ministry demanded the US explicate the recent death and make a thorough investigation to find out those who are responsible for the incident.
