A national sci-tech presentation in the field of poultry took place at the Academy of Poultry Science from October 20 to 22 under the sponsorship of the Korean Poultry Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

It was aimed at widely disseminating and generalizing the sci-tech successes and experience gained in steadily and continuously increasing poultry production.

Attending it were officials, scientists and technicians of more than 10 units including Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang University of Agriculture and the Pyongyang Poultry Production Bureau. The presentation heard dozens of papers for solving the scientific and technological problems arising in the poultry sector, including the breeding, preservation and amelioration of improved varieties, the production of protein feed, feed additives and substitute feed and scientific raising.

During the presentation, there was a technical lecture on the application of advanced technology in poultry breeding.
