Apple and pear tasting held
October 15, 2026The public tasting of apples and pears-2026 was held at the Pyongyang Women's Union Visitors Hostel on October 13.
On display were different kinds of apples and pears produced by fruit production units across the country.
The show was held in such a way that the jury consisting of ordinary persons tried apples and pears of various strains on display and evaluated their sweetness, sour taste, juice and aroma.
Highly appreciated were the apples and pears produced by Pukchong County, the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, the Toksong Apple Farm and the Onchon, Myonggan, Pyongyang and Sondok fruit farms.
