More undisguised moves towards territorial expansion
October 13, 2026Israel gets ever more undisguised in its moves towards territorial expansion.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has recently disclosed that acts of violence against the Palestinians by Jewish settlers are getting more pronounced in the West Bank. According to it, they have assaulted the former more than 6 000 times since 2023 in the region, causing huge casualties and material damage.
In the period over 130 Palestinian residential districts have been completely or partially evacuated and 6 500-odd Palestinians displaced.
In July, the Jewish settlers committed violence against the Palestinians who were farming in the West Bank, injuring about 30 people including children, women and elderly persons and destroying the infrastructure. They were followed by the Israeli troops, who declared the Palestinians’ farmland as a “military zone,” drove them out of it and left the Jewish settlers there.
All these acts of violence are being perpetrated under the patronage and connivance of the Israeli authorities.
Recently, the Israeli Cabinet approved a budget bill for the construction of 34 new Jewish settlements in the West Bank. Over 100 settlements were reportedly approved to be built in the region by Israel in the past four years.
The Israeli authorities even approved the plan to register the West Bank as part of their territory, unhesitatingly claiming that there would never be a Palestinian state and that it was their land.
Facts clearly show the wild ambition for territorial expansion of the Israeli authorities to establish an "Empire of Great Israel" in the Middle East.
Over 700 000 Jews, accounting for 10 percent of the Israeli population, now live in the West Bank and East al-Quds occupied by Israel due to its undisguised moves toward expanding Jewish settlements.
Israel, hell-bent on territorial expansion despite the strong criticism and denunciation by the international community, will never evade the stern judgment of history.
