National fine art exhibition opens to celebrate founding anniversary of WPK

A national fine art exhibition opened to celebrate the 81st founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

On display there are art pieces depicting the immortal revolutionary exploits President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and respected Comrade Kim Jong Un performed for the founding and development of the WPK and the victorious advance of Korean-style socialism centred on the masses of the people.

Also seen are art pieces of colourful themes and forms showing the appearance of the country changing with the passage of time under the wise leadership of the great Party Central Committee and the indomitable struggle of the Korean people who are dynamically advancing toward a new victory of the revolution with the firm faith in socialism and inexhaustible patriotic will.

An opening ceremony took place at the Korea National Art Museum on October 7.

Present there were Choe Chang Hak, first deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials and creators in the field of fine art, and working people in Pyongyang.

Hyon Un Chol, minister of Culture, made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
