The Russian Foreign Ministry called the charge d'affaires ad interim of the British embassy in Moscow on September 18 to warn the UK against arms support to Ukraine.

It mentioned that the UK has provided Kiev with arms aid to violate international commitments and commit structure-destroying acts.

It stressed that any military object of the UK to be deployed in Ukraine and used for striking the Russian territory will be a legitimate target of the Russian armed forces.

It demanded the UK abandon the line of escalating tension and fulfil its international commitments.
