Nepal releases survey result of damage caused by massive landslide and flood

The Nepalese government announced a survey result of damage caused by the recent massive landslide and flood on September 5.

According to the result, the total number of victims was over 32 900.

About 7 570 dwelling houses, more than 1 800 hectares of farmland and such infrastructures as roads and bridges were damaged or destroyed.

Thirteen hydroelectric power stations suffered damage, resulting in a decrease in power generation.

At present, a large number of people have been reduced to homeless refugees.
