The Tenth Congress of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) will be held in Pyongyang, the capital of the revolution, early in November 2026.

At present, the UAWK is faced with the honourable task of fulfilling its mission and duty as a mass political organization of agricultural workers and an organization for ideological education of them in the struggle to thoroughly implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and thus preparing all its members to be genuine rural revolutionaries and patriotic agricultural workers upholding in the van the rural revolutionary programme in the new era set forth by the Party.

The 13th Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the UAWK decided to convene the Tenth Congress of the UAWK in order to analyse and review in depth the work of the union in the period under review and further enhance the functions and role of the UAWK organizations in successfully attaining the goal of grain production by giving full play to the spiritual strength of the masses during the period of the new long-term plan.

The congress will mark a turning point in fully demonstrating the might of the union in the sacred struggle to usher in a great new era of the Korean-style socialist rural development under the leadership of the great Party Central Committee and providing a new milestone in the work of the union.
