A dance party of women's union officials and members took place on September 9, the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The plaza of the Arch of Triumph, the venue for the dance party, overflowed with joy and excitement of officials and members of the women's union celebrating the founding anniversary of their motherland.

The dance party began with the playing of the song "Fly, Our Tri-colour National Flag of the Republic".

The participants danced with boundless pride and joy of leading a worthwhile life on the road of national prosperity as a powerful force pushing one of the two wheels of the revolution under the care of the great Workers' Party of Korea.

The dancers were full of gratitude to and reverence for respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has ushered in a new great era of the comprehensive development of socialism and demonstrated the dignity and prestige of the country all over the world with his outstanding ideas and immortal patriotic devotion.

The dance party, which vividly showed the mettle and noble spiritual world of the Korean women determined to fully display their patriotism in the struggle for accelerating the comprehensive prosperity and development of the country, ended with the song "Our Leader Beloved of the People".

Dance parties of women's union officials and members were held in other parts of the country on the same day.
