The flower garden of the Songdowon Pleasure Ground Management Station in the Songdowon area, a scenic attraction on the east coast, has been renovated.

Ground cover plants such as Phlox subulata and Zoysia tenuifolia, roses and dozens of other species of flowering and ornamental plants grow in an area of tens of thousands of square metres of the flower garden, creating a beautiful landscape.

It has several flower petal-shape walkways centring around the pool with a dancing fountain fitted with underwater lighting of various colours and cosy resting sites in the shade of trees of good species.

Ornamental animals also find home in the flower garden, adding to its scenic beauty.

The dome-shaped greenhouse for growing flowering plants in it catches the eye of the people.

Various kinds of flowers are cultivated in the greenhouse to give visitors a good idea of plants and spread general knowledge about flower growing.

Now many people come to spend a good time in the flower garden with beautiful scenery.
