Ukraine drowns in debt
September 3, 2026Ukraine entangled in the anti-Russia war as a tool of the US and the West is now burdened with crippling debts.
According to statistical data published by Russia’s TASS on August 30, based on information from the Ukrainian ministry of finance, the debt of the country reached about 218-219 billion US dollars at the end of August.
The national debt of Ukraine is increasing by an average of 4-5 billion dollars per month, and the per capita debt is expected to reach 8 500 dollars at the end of 2026 and 10 400 dollars at the end of 2027.
