The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Sun Mae, a woman living in neighbourhood unit No. 1 of Hanchon-dong, Kim Chaek City, North Hamgyong Province, on her 100th birthday.

Receiving the birthday spread amid congratulations from officials of Party and power organs and residents in the city, the centenarian expressed her gratitude to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Before Korea's liberation she was born into a poor peasant's family and had to suffer the miserable lot of an enslaved nation. After national liberation, she could lead a genuine life under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea.

During the Fatherland Liberation War, she took the lead in supporting the front. She did her job devotedly for decades and brought her children up well to work hard for national defence and socialist construction. Even after becoming a pensioner, she has worked for the prosperity and development of the country.
