A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce on August 20 demanded that the US lift tariffs on drones and parts from China.

As regards the fact that the US has recently decided to levy huge tariffs on imported drones and parts, he said that the US is pursuing unilateralism and protectionism under the pretext of national security and discriminatively treating relevant products of China, thereby seriously encroaching upon the interests of Chinese businesses.

That is also confusing the cooperation order of the world drone industry and supply chains, he noted, adding that China is resolutely opposed to it and strongly urges the US to immediately withdraw the tariff measure.
