Israel’s unethical acts come under fire from international community
August 18, 2026Voices of denunciation continue to go up against the unethical acts committed by Israel.
Recently, the foreign ministers of eight Islamic countries including Egypt and Saudi Arabia issued a statement to strongly censure Israel for massacring civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The statement condemned Israel’s atrocities of destroying public health facilities and medical infrastructure and civilian facilities and killing civilians including women and children as a wanton violation of international law.
Such a human rights violation by Israel cannot be seen separated from the attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the Israeli authorities’ illegitimate moves to expand settlements, it said.
It continued to say that Israel’s unethical practices are aimed at formulating a systematic policy of pulling down the basis of the two-state solution and ignoring the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
As is known, a declaration calling for recognizing the State of Palestine was published at the high-level international conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and implementation of the two-state solution held at the UN headquarters in July 2025.
Saying that to put an end to the Gaza crisis and implement the two-state solution is the best way to end all forms of terrorism and violence and achieve regional peace and prosperity, the declaration asserted that it is an indispensable factor in regional peace to admit Palestine to the UN as its full member.
Despite the unanimous aspiration and demand of the international community to recognize the State of Palestine, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu set warmongers on to the killing of civilians, saying that the State of Palestine will not be established.
In particular, Israel continues to kill Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) which came into effect in October last year.
Since the outbreak of the Gaza crisis in October 2023, over 73 000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli atrocities. Most of them are innocent civilians including women and children.
Referring to it, the world holds that it is a war Israel started against Palestinian civilians, not Hamas, which is tantamount to the holocaust Nazi Germany had committed in several European countries in the first half of the 20th century.
The unethical atrocities committed by Israeli warmongers to trample the rights of Palestinians and realize their wild ambition of territorial expansion will never escape punishment by the international community.
