Labour produces poems and songs
August 8, 2026Brisk mass literature creation activities are under way at the Kangson Vinyl Sheet Factory.
Everyone from the manager to the workers loves writing poems, words of songs, short stories for wall newspaper and other literary works which reflect what they have experienced in their working life. The works are full of their attachment to the factory and their pride in their jobs.
The poem “Our Factory’s White Silk” tells that plastic waste becomes “rolls of silk” after passing through a machine of the factory and the vinyl sheets produced by the factory become white “silk quilts” covering fields. The poem “Skilful Hands” says that the workers’ hands are rough as they operate machines but people call their hands skilful hands as they make an active contribution to the work for recycling in the country.
Many works, including the poem “Where Does Patriotism Originate?” which says patriotism originates at one’s workplace, were highly appreciated at a national prize mass literary work contest. The factory takes unusual pride in having won national creative contests for three consecutive years from 2023 to last year.
The employees of the factory also conduct vigorous mass artistic activities.
Every number of their performances reflecting their working life, in which they help and lead each other forward, steadily creating new things and progressing, is invigorating and emotional.
They sing or play musical instruments during breaks in labour or in the evening after work and all of them have learned to play one or more musical instruments. Now workteams and workshops are as good as nice bands. Some of the employees learned magic tricks.
An art performance of the employees of the factory won the first place in the category of industrial establishments of the Ninth April Spring People’s Art Festival held last year.
The mass literature creation and artistic activities which raise their cultural attainments are leading to a greater upsurge in production.
