The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Choe Myong Ok, a centenarian living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 44, Jongbaek-dong No. 2, Rangnang District, Pyongyang, on her 100th birthday.

Choe Myong Ok, who received the birthday spread amid congratulations of officials of the Rangnang District Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and residents, expressed her gratitude to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, deeply moved by the great benevolence of the Party.

Born into a poor peasant's family before the liberation of Korea, she was subjected to all sorts of humiliation and contempt. She could lead a worthwhile life only after the liberation of the country.

She had worked in the textile industry sector for decades and brought up her children well to put them forward at major posts of socialist construction.
