Russian President refers to importance of navy

Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to the importance of the navy at a meeting with the officers and soldiers of the navy on July 26.

The significance of the navy remains eternal and unchanged in Russia, the biggest country in the world, he said, adding that the Russian Navy has already held an important position in ensuring the security of the state system since its founding.

He stated that the navy will be the most important factor in ensuring the security of the country in the future, too, as it is at present and that Russia will do everything to strengthen the navy.
