Chinese embassy in Pyongyang hosts reception
July 30, 2026The Chinese embassy in Pyongyang hosted a reception on July 28 to mark the 99th founding anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
Present there at invitation were No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Pak Yong Il, deputy director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, Mun Song Hyok, deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Myong Su, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Ri Chol U, vice-minister of Public Security, generals and other officers of the KPA, officials concerned and members of the diplomatic and military attaches corps in the country.
On hand there were Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, Defense Attache Wang Yisheng, other members of the Chinese embassy and Chinese guests staying in the country.
Speeches were made there.
