All the people across the DPRK paid high tribute to the victors of the great years who made a sacred history of war victory of heroic Korea and heroic people by unhesitatingly devoting their youth and lives to the dignity and sovereignty of the country and freedom and happiness of its people on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Officials of the Party and power organs, working people's organizations, industrial establishments and farms, and working people, students and schoolchildren and service personnel in Pyongyang and regional areas visited the statues of martyrs, cemeteries and memorial towers for the fallen soldiers of the Korean People’s Army and laid flowers before them on July 27.

The visitors observed a moment’s silence in memory of the martyrs who defended the dignity and honour of the DPRK and the gains of the revolution at the cost of their lives and devoted themselves to the struggle for building a thriving nation.
