Singing of people’s laughter

July 24, 2026

Mass cultural and artistic activities are brisk at every unit in the DPRK and various stories about workplaces are represented by works.

The same is true of the employees of the Munsu Water Park Management Station.

The Munsu Water Park, which consists of indoor and outdoor pools equipped with big and small pools, high and low shower bath places and water slides and an indoor gym which has various pieces of gym equipment, is always crowded and full of people's joyful and happy laughter.

The people’s laugher is the source of its employees’ pride and the main theme of their mass cultural and artistic activities.

The management station often organizes an art performance contest between workshops, workteams or departments on its birthday or national holidays, all of them putting on the stage distinctive and diverse numbers reflecting the people's laughter, including solo, chorus, dance, poem and comic stage dialogue. In particular, the poetic narrative “Laughter”, the singing narrative in unison “Happy Tomorrow” and the national instrumental music ensemble “Pyongyang Is Best” are highly acclaimed by the audience for their vividness and high level of artistic representation.

The poetic narrative “Laughter” impressively represents the people’s laughter resounding all the year round at their workplace, which was built thanks to the devoted and painstaking efforts of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who repeatedly inspected the construction site of the water park with a view to providing the people with a modern and comprehensive water park as soon as possible. The singing narrative in unison “Happy Tomorrow” just reflects the people’s will to do a great deal of good things for the country and for the happier future than the present.

The numbers were highly appreciated at the national mass cultural and artistic groups’ performance in October last year and created a sensation among the audience.

The contents of the mass cultural and artistic works of the employees of the water park are growing richer as it further resounds with the laughter of visitors increasing in number now in summer.
