Women inject vitality to society
July 14, 2026DPRK society gets more harmonious and livelier thanks to the lofty spiritual world of women who devote themselves to not only their own families but also society and the collective.
Amid the growing social environment of learning from the ennobling spiritual world of the martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives in the overseas military operations in order to defend the sacred dignity and honour of the country, the women's union officials and members in Pyongyang Municipality visit the bereaved families of the martyrs together with their children to take care of them like their own flesh and blood and make the new generation have the will to glorify their youth on the road for the good of the country like the martyrs.
Many women sincerely look after the health of war veterans and provide them with convenience in their life or encourage honoured disabled soldiers to carry on the revolution and arrange their weddings with parental affection, blessing them bright future.
There are also those who visit regional-industry factories under construction according to the new regional development policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea to actively offer welfare services to the soldier-builders to raise their morale or make sincere efforts for the soldiers at the posts for national defence.
With the noble desire to steadily carry forward the fine tradition of the great socialist family and national traits and to devote sincerity to lighten the heavy burden of the country even a little, women in Sinchon County of South Hwanghae Province, women of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, a leading iron production base, and families of the miners of the Musan Mining Complex visit the workplaces seething with the efforts for making miracles and innovations with aid materials they prepared with sincerity and songs they practised to encourage the working people.
Such women have the firm faith that their destiny and the happiness of their families depend on their socialist motherland.
