July 12, 2026

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said that only a country with a strong and well-armed army faithful to the state and people can become a genuine sovereign state at the ceremony to congratulate military university graduates and high-ranking officers on July 6.

He said that the Belarus people do not want war, but they do not grovel to the enemies.

The mixed war against Belarus continues through economic coercion, political and information pressure, active espionage and provocations at its southern border, he said, adding that the deployment of the latest-type missile system and tactical nuclear weapons has become an important strategic deterrence factor to cool the heated heads of the West.
