Russian presidential aide refers to goal and task of strengthening naval forces

The primary goal of the state policy in the field of naval activities is to maintain the strategic and regional stability in the five oceans, strengthen and develop the naval forces into the most important means of external policy and ensure the international position of Russia as a maritime power, he said.
In order to achieve the stated goals, it is important to defend the national interests in all waters of the world oceans and develop the naval forces in a balanced way so as to inflict terrible losses on any potential enemies, he noted.
It arises as the most important task of the state policy in the field of naval activities to develop the systems for ensuring comprehensive surveillance and reconnaissance of the maritime, air and space situations and indication of targets while completing the naval bases and projects for supply service infrastructure, he added.
