Schoolchildren held a meeting at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on July 6 to tell stories about the noble virtues of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of his demise.

Present there were Paek Un Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league, students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Chilgol Revolutionary School and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.

At the meeting the performers highly praised the immortal revolutionary career and exploits of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who loved schoolchildren most all his life and devoted his all to providing them with all happiness in the world.

They noted that more than 50 years ago, the great Generalissimo visited the then Taedongmun Primary School on the first school opening day when the universal compulsory eleven-year education was introduced in the DPRK and acquainted himself with the pupils' preparations for study, adding that he even worried about a pupil's wound and took a measure to treat him.

They said that the great Generalissimo visited Mangyongdae Revolutionary School to make a congratulatory speech on the day of its opening ceremony and always showed parental affection to the students.

They told about the benevolence of the great Generalissimo who chose the site of a school after the liberation of the country and named it "Samhung Middle School" which means that the school brings up talented students who are knowledgeable, morally sound and physically strong and thus makes the country prosper.
