Chinese representative blasts Japan for unethical crimes
July 3, 2026Shortly ago, the Chinese representative exposed and criticized Japan’s women’s human rights violations at a symposium on women’s rights of the UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Laying bare Japan’s dirty human rights record, he denounced the forcible drafting of “comfort women” as a grave unethical crime committed against women by Japanese militarism.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the start of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, he said, adding that China strongly demands that Japan deeply reflect on its history of aggression and resolve the unsettled issues in history properly with sincere attitude.
