Fertilizer producers of the country are registering good production results.

According to data available, the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex produced hundreds of tons of more fertilizer than planned in April and achieved an increase of tens of tons in production on a daily average in May.

The complex arranges a contest of technical innovation plans and findings every quarter of the year to introduce highly rated ones into production and steadily pushes ahead with the improvement of the performance of equipment.

It rationally remodelled an ammonia condensing and separating tower to boost the separation efficiency and developed and introduced a gas analyser and vibration gauge suited to the actual conditions to further increase the utilization rate of equipment.

The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex is also making all efforts to increase fertilizer production.

The complex has so far produced thousands of tons of more fertilizer than planned this year.

Officials and employees of the complex have introduced advanced technology and new operating methods to make the most of the existing production foundations and successfully solved technical problems arising in normal operation.

For example, they improved the quality of coal bars by exploring a rational way to ensure the proper particle size of anthracite.
