Vinalon producer strives to pep up production
June 19, 2026The February 8 Vinalon Complex is pushing ahead with some projects for reenergizing production.
It is now simultaneously pressing on with the development of the Phungnam Mine and the establishment of a pilot production process of ferrotitanium and a salt production process based on an industrial method.
The Phungnam Mine is under development in an area with a large deposit of high-grade limestone. At present, an ore processing system embracing crushing and screening processes has been completed and rail tracks are being laid. At the same time, the dwelling houses for miners are being built. Such public buildings as a nursery, kindergarten, clinic and cultural and welfare facilities have already been completed. As a result, the once-secluded area is turning into a promising limestone production base.
Meanwhile, the building work for the establishment of the pilot ferrotitanium production process is going full steam ahead.
Production buildings have been constructed for the establishment of the salt production process based on an industrial method. The complex is speeding up the work to establish a graduation process and the excavation for laying a thousands-of-metre-long seawater pipeline.
