Russia expresses stand to protect security of allied state

Mikhail Galujin, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, referred to the issue of security of the Russia-Belarus allied state in an interview on June 9.

He branded NATO's arms buildup near the border of the allied state as a provocative act.

The armed forces and security organs of Russia and Belarus are constantly improving the aspect of mutual cooperation, he said, stressing that the two countries are ready to take all measures including the use of nuclear weapons in order to ensure the security of the allied state.
