OPEC decides to increase oil output

The OPEC announced a decision to increase the oil output of its member nations on June 7.

Seven member nations of the organization held a video-conference that day and made the decision in order to stabilize the world oil market after taking stock of the actual situation of the market.

Accordingly, the member nations are reportedly to produce 188 000 barrels of more oil daily in July.
