A national photo exhibition "Offering bright prospects for the development of light industry" opened in Pyongyang.

On display at the venue of the exhibition are photographs showing the immortal revolutionary exploits of the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un who regards the improvement of the people's standard of living as the most important affair and has devoted constant efforts to the development of light industry of the country.

The photos show the greatness of the General Secretary who provided clear guidelines for radically developing the country's light industry.

There are also photos encapsulating the development of the country’s light industry making a leap forward day by day under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The opening ceremony took place at the Okryu Exhibition House on June 10.

Present there were officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.

At the ceremony, a speaker called on all the officials, Party members and other working people to devote their patriotic wisdom and enthusiasm to the ongoing general offensive for implementing the decisions of the Party Congress and thus make a tangible contribution to bringing earlier a new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
