The Foreign Ministry of Belarus called the charge d'affaires ad interim of the Lithuanian embassy in Belarus on May 21 in connection with the violation of its airspace by the Ukrainian drones launched within the Lithuanian territory.

The Lithuanian authorities neither took any steps to prevent the launch of drones within its territory nor gave any advance notice about it, said the Foreign Ministry, denouncing it as a violation of international law creating direct danger to the security of Belarus.

It demanded Lithuania take measures to prevent acts of violating the airspace of Belarus and endangering its border security.
